Life

Expectations.

Rarely is any word loaded with such painful possibilities.

What is it, that compels this human animal? Why are we so eager for hope? Why are we driven to expect better than the past?

Perhaps the thing more fragile than human life, is the expectations we make of it. To expect kindness; to be treated with respect and dignity. To be able to live your life in peace and security. To expect a better future. To realise childhood dreams. Is that not childish?

When we hurt, why do we think we have the market cornered on human suffering? Why are we so eager to cut ourselves off from others? What do we expect would happen? Why does fear drive us so much? What are we so afraid of? Why are we so afraid to accept ourselves?

Why do we hurt ourselves so much?

Expectations.

Rarely is any word loaded with such painful possibilities.

People take life for granted. With this base, it is not too difficult to build on and pile up hopes, aspirations, fear, dismay and expectations.

Most of us are unaware of tortorous facts and feel the pain borne by us is the most painful. But is it not true ? I mean why does a person have to have empathy/sympathy for others. In his life, the being himself is the most important person (Rohan...rem something? ). If he is hurt then effectively his universe is affected.
I just typed it out and I am not going to revise it. I do not know what or why I just wrote this out.
Cheers

They are all so afraid. So afraid.... When did utopia seem so unattainable? When did we throw it away...deem it ridiculous. For a creature that aspires so much, why oh why did we not see the value of it?

Hell is having to come back and re-live every single individual life experience. Every child who was molested, every person raped, every person tortured, every harshed human life.

They speak of end times, they fearfully proclaim it is upon us... Is the end near? Sweetly, epic-ly, relievingly, with hope filled hope...yes. The end is so close....the end of war, the end of hate, the end of sleeplessness, the end of ache-ing spirits...we are closer than we've ever been before...

If I died tomorrow, I will have died wishing for one more day. And if I lived to be 218 years old, I will always wish for one more day.

Thank you for participating with me. I would have loved to have gotten to know you.
