Could this be it?

A British man may have overcome the HIV virus.

25 year old Andrew Stimpson was diagnosed as HIV positive in august 2002. 14 months later, his HIV tests have come negative.

Andrew, on learning of the negative results, tried to sue the hospital for bungling his initial results. However, DNA analysis of the old samples have confirmed them to be his. This spontaneous clearance of the virus is all the more mysterious in light of the fact that he gave up safe sex with his HIV positive boyfriend after his own diagnosis.

It seems interesting, this case. But there has to be a logical explanation for the disappearance of the infection. I am thinking there is a mixup of samples at some level. But I hope the poor chap is not living under a false pretense..

Anyway, the call that I had made is a part of my endeavour to communicate more. I had gone to a career counsellor and one of my shortcomings was that I dont interact enough. So I have decided to call atleast three people in a week (friends, relatives and not for some work ) and talk about life in general...Reliance might be happy to hear about this...
Anyway..
Cheers

Gee, good to hear your call had a logical explanation.

As for the mystery of the disappearing virus, DNA testing proved the samples that gave a positive result were indeed his. The NHS has however gone on record to say that Andrew did not have HIV to begin with, and his earlier results were false positives.

you bet i am supposed to give a logical explanation, otherwise 9'0 clock in the morning seems slightly out of place to me for calling friends for a general thing. Obviously friends can call in at any time, but it would seem weird to receive a call at 9 in the morning for nothing specific......!
